Adult Ball Hockey League FAQs

Adult League Sub Rules

There are 2 ways to Register an Adult Team. You must choose only ONE way per team.

1. TEAM FEE REGISTRATION

This option allows Team Captains to deal with their own economics and collect the funds from their teammates then pay us. This method allows a team to carry up to 18 players on their roster accounting for full-time players and subs, potentially lowering the cost per player. As a Team Captain, you accept responsibility for any uncollected payments.

Please note, as a team fee team you cannot sub from outside of your final approved roster (completed by Game 3) - Click here for complete Adult League subbing rules. You must use only the players that have registered to your roster. A player may only roster to ONE team within a division.

2026 FALL TEAM FEE IS $2,300

Team Fee Payment Schedule

Team fee deposit DUE August 15, 2026
(min $1,300)

Team fee second payment
(min $500) due by first game

Final team fee payment
($500) due by 3rd game (at latest)

2. INDIVIDUAL PLAYER TEAM REGISTRATION

This option allows Team Captains to create and manage but have the players pay the league directly.

Team reps are responsible for ensuring the team has a minimum of 11 paid players, and are eligible to play for free if that requirement is met.

$185.84 (plus tax) = $210 (for 12 weeks)

At least 1 player (preferably the Captain) must register and pay in full in order for a team to be approved.

After a Team is registered and approved, you will receive a unique link to register your players.

If you're a first-timer registering your team, follow these steps.

1. Create a profile on RAMP at the link above

2. Go to your Dashboard and Click on the 3rd big button on the right called TEAM REGISTRATION

3. Send your non refundable team deposit of $100 to this email.

3. Follow the prompts to the end. You do not need to fill out your team roster upon initial registration. You can log back in to do that later. Once you've received a confirmation, we will Activate your team and give you further instructions. Email Jackie with any questions.

After a Team is registered and approved, you will receive a unique link to register your players.

Looking to Play but don't have a team?

Most of our teams are submitted by Team Captains but sometimes they need to complete their roster with new players. If you are a player without a team, please complete this "Looking to Play" form and we will contact you once we find you a spot. Please do not email.

We have a shinny that plays on Sunday nights. If you are over 18 and interested in playing please email Jackie.

How do you know what division you should sign up for at Royal City?
